I’ve always been fascinated by controversial media figures and superstars. One personality who’s stayed with me is Dennis Rodman: former NBA player, known for his extreme sportsmanship and constant drive to provoke public attention. In this magazine, I visualized my fascination with extremity and controversy. Through various chapters, I explore the many ways in which Rodman defied the typical image of a star athlete. Each section is paired with quotes from Rodman himself, matching the theme of the chapter. 

As you flip through the pages, you’ll also notice my appreciation for the graphic details found in his outfits and tattoos. Rodman wasn’t just a rebel on the court, he delivered iconic looks off it too. Bold black-outlined shapes energize the spreads, adding a layer of visual chaos that reflects Rodman’s spirit.

To promote the magazine, I also created a video that responds to the rhythm of basketball dribbles. Visuals and graphics appear and disappear in sync with the sound of the bouncing ball, turning the audio into a driving force for the design.
